How do I search of this site?

In the Keyword Search box type the single word that best describes your interest. If you want to see images of Mount Hood, type hood. If you want to see black and white images, type bw. For more detailed searches type several keywords. If you want to see black and white images of Mount Hood that are horizontal, type bw hood horizontal. Searches are limited to one subject. While a search for both Mt Hood and Mt Rainier together will fail, a search for Cascades will produce images of both mountains. ( There is no "or" function to the search.)

Keyword search abbreviations and defaults:

bw is any black and white, (this selection excludes color)

color is any color image, (this selection excludes bw)

historic is historic, usually bw, but also any Kodachrome color

mt is mountain(s)

verti is verticals

horiz is horizontals

panora is panoramic, (hmmmm... a very narrow format)

coast is a beach, or ocean image, (Think... Pacific Coast)

people is any image with people in it

example:bw horiz mt people

is a black and white horizontal image with a mountain and people and is probably an historic image of skiers or climbers

Each photographer's last name is the first word of any image title.

example: Atkeson

is Atkeson WJG 5882a Mt Hood Timberline Lodge
